* Shoulder Bags - these mid sized bags are great for carrying around every day essentials such as your cell phone, wallet, make up and house keys, and usually have lots of handy pockets to keep everything organized. Shoulder bags range in style from softly structured hobo bags through to rigid leather satchel purses, and they are carried over the shoulder or sometimes with a longer strap worn over the chest.

Shoulder bags are generally made from hardwearing materials such as leather and canvas twill as they are used everyday, but you can also get some very glamorous shoulder bags with delicate straps and designs which can also be suitable for evening wear.
* Evening Bags – evenings bags come in a range of styles from clutch bags (no straps you hold them in your hand) to wristlets (straps just long enough to drape over your wrist), and are usually made from luxurious materials such as soft leather, silks, satins and beaded or embroidered fabric.

Evening bags are usually quite small and delicate, and so are not very practical for every day use, but they do make an excellence accessory for glamorous evening wear, and you should be able to fit a few essential items in them for a night out.
